Electronic City Phase 1 (560100) is the township’s original core around the Infosys and Wipro campuses. Flats trade around ₹5,500–8,500/sq ft; it has its own operational Yellow Line station and the belt’s densest retail and housing.
Phase 1 is where Electronic City began — the older, denser half of the township, built around the Infosys and Wipro flagship campuses and the KEONICS industrial core. It has the belt’s main high street, most of its retail and the largest concentration of housing.
Its appeal is walk-to-work convenience plus the new metro: tens of thousands of employees live within a couple of kilometres of their office, and the Electronic City Yellow Line station now links the belt to the rest of the city.
For buyers it is the most established, liquid part of the area — expect the firmest prices in the belt and older stock alongside newer towers, offset by unmatched convenience and the strongest resale demand.
