Purva Silversky Location: Hebbagodi, Yellow Line Metro and Commutes
Where The Purva Silversky Location Sits On The Map
The project stands at Hebbagodi village, off Huskur Road, on the southern edge of Electronic City in Bengaluru.
Administratively it falls in Attibele Hobli of Anekal Taluk, which places it just outside the core Electronic City township.
Electronic City Phase 2 lies to the north, the Bommasandra industrial area to the south, and Hosur Road runs along the west.
Huskur Road links the site to Phase 2, Bommasandra and Hosur Road, and from there to the NICE Road interchange.
The pocket is mixed. Gated projects, older layouts, small factories and vacant parcels share the same stretch of road.
That mix is normal for a corridor in transition. It also explains the Purva Silversky location, since land here was available for a seven-acre tower project.
Township Rules Versus Village Rules
Inside the core township, roads, lighting and civic upkeep are handled by the Electronics City Industrial Township Authority.
Outside that boundary, the surrounding villages run on panchayat and municipal systems, and service standards are visibly uneven.
You can see the difference on a drive. Township roads are wide and lit, while some village stretches have patchy drainage.
The developer’s own blog advises checking access roads during the rains, which is honest advice we would repeat.
For a buyer weighing the Purva Silversky location, the gate and the podium will be polished long before the last kilometre of Huskur Road is.
Ask which authority will maintain the approach road and whether any widening is sanctioned in the local plan.
The Metro: Huskur Road Station On The Yellow Line
The Yellow Line opened in August 2025 between RV Road and Bommasandra, running along the Hosur Road corridor.
Huskur Road and Hebbagodi are both stations on that line, which is the single biggest change to this address in a decade.
Press reports place Huskur Road station at about 900 metres from the site, while one agency gives about 1.3 km to the nearest station.
The difference matters. Nine hundred metres is a comfortable walk, while 1.3 km in the monsoon usually becomes an auto ride.
The line reaches Silk Board, BTM Layout and Jayanagar without touching Hosur Road traffic, with an interchange to the Green Line at RV Road.
Our guide to which Namma Metro lines actually run tracks the wider network status.
Peak frequency was still improving through late 2025, so check current headways on the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation site.
Drive Times The Developer Publishes
The official project page lists drive times rather than distances. We reproduce them here with our own notes on what they mean in practice.
These are off-peak figures. Add a margin at school-run hours and on the Hosur Road approach in the evening.
| Destination | Type | Drive time | Our note |
|---|---|---|---|
| St. Francis de Sales | School | 3 min | Walkable on a good day |
| IIT Bangalore East | Campus | 5 min | Rare for a suburb |
| PES University | College | 8 min | Electronic City campus |
| Ebenezer International | School | 10 min | Common family pick |
| Sri Chaitanya | School | 11 min | Coaching-led |
| MS Dhoni Global School | School | 24 min | Longer school run |
| JJ Hospitals | Hospital | 7 min | Routine care |
| Springleaf Hospital | Hospital | 8 min | Routine care |
| Narayana Cardiac | Hospital | 12 min | Tertiary centre |
| Mazumdar Shaw Medical | Hospital | 12 min | Cancer care |
| M5 Ecity Mall | Retail | 4 min | Weekly shopping |
| DMart Bommasandra | Retail | 7 min | Groceries |

The Purva Silversky Location For Electronic City Employees
This is the core of the case. The developer lists Continental Automotive at 4 minutes and HCL Tech Semiconductor at 5 minutes.
TCS and Tech Mahindra are each listed at 9 minutes, Infosys at 13 minutes and the Wipro campus at 18 minutes.
The developer claims more than fifteen IT parks within a ten-minute radius, which matches the employer list above.
For anyone working inside Electronic City, that is a short commute by Bengaluru standards and a real daily time saving.
Semiconductor and automotive electronics employers along Hosur Road add a newer manufacturing-linked professional base to the area.
The developer also points to life sciences and pharmaceutical zones developing around Hosur. We treat that as a direction, not a dated plan.
Commutes Beyond Electronic City
By road, Hosur Road and the elevated tollway carry most traffic north, and the Silk Board junction remains the daily choke point.
Koramangala, HSR Layout and Jayanagar are reachable, but the metro is the realistic way to do those trips at peak.
Whitefield is roughly 17 km away in a straight line, and the drive through Sarjapur and the ORR is long at rush hour.
Manyata Tech Park and the airport belt in the north are long drives from here and will remain so for owners who drive.
Azim Premji University is listed at 35 minutes, which is a useful marker for how far Sarjapur-side destinations really are.
The developer cites a planned widening of Hosur Road. Until it is built and dated, do not price it into your commute.
| Workplace | Best mode | Practicality | Our view |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electronic City campuses | Car or cab | 5 – 18 min drive | Excellent |
| Bommasandra industry | Car or metro | Short hop | Excellent |
| Silk Board and BTM | Metro | Direct on Yellow Line | Good |
| Jayanagar and RV Road | Metro | Direct, Green Line link | Good |
| Koramangala and HSR | Metro plus auto | Peak drive is slow | Fair |
| Whitefield and ORR east | Car | Long at peak | Poor |
| Manyata and airport | Car | Very long | Poor |
Daily Life Around The Purva Silversky Location
Schooling is solid, with St. Francis de Sales, Ebenezer International and Sri Chaitanya all within about eleven minutes.
Higher education is unusually deep for a suburb, with IIT Bangalore East, PES University and Symbiosis all close by.
Healthcare covers routine and specialist needs, since the Narayana Health City campus at Bommasandra is a major tertiary centre.
Retail is functional rather than rich. M5 Ecity Mall, DMart Bommasandra and Decathlon Chandapura cover most weekly needs.
Dining is mostly Electronic City Phase 1 and the Hosur Road strip, and fine dining still means a trip toward Koramangala.
Weekend options include Gold Coins Club and Nirantara Resort, which the developer lists at 12 and 22 minutes respectively.
How Location Compares With Nearby Projects
Against Sobha Townpark at Attibele, this address is closer to Electronic City and to an operating metro station.
Against SNN Duomont at Kudlu Gate, it is further from Silk Board but sits in a quieter, lower-density pocket.
Stations beside a project carry a measurable premium. Our walk-to-metro premium guide explains how much buyers pay for it.
Our verdict is that the Purva Silversky location is excellent for Electronic City work and fair for metro-linked central commutes.
It is a poor choice for anyone whose office is in Whitefield, Manyata or the airport belt, and no buyer should plan otherwise.
The full assessment, including price and risks, is in our complete Purva Silversky guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Purva Silversky location exactly?
The project is at Hebbagodi village, off Huskur Road, on the southern edge of Electronic City. It falls in Attibele Hobli of Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Urban.
Electronic City Phase 2 lies to the north and the Bommasandra industrial area to the south, with Hosur Road and NICE Road both reachable by car within a short drive.
How far is the nearest metro station?
Press reports place Huskur Road station on the Yellow Line at about 900 metres, while one agency gives about 1.3 km.
The line opened in August 2025 between RV Road and Bommasandra.
Walk the route yourself on a site visit, because footpaths and road crossings decide whether it is genuinely walkable every day.
Is Hebbagodi inside Electronic City township?
Not in the administrative sense. The core township is maintained by ELCITA, while Hebbagodi village sits in Attibele Hobli and runs on panchayat and municipal systems.
In practice it is part of the Electronic City market. The difference shows in road quality, drainage and street lighting, which are uneven on some older stretches.
Which IT parks are close by?
The developer lists Continental Automotive at 4 minutes, HCL Tech Semiconductor at 5 minutes, and TCS and Tech Mahindra at 9 minutes.
Infosys is listed at 13 minutes and the Wipro campus at 18 minutes.
It claims more than fifteen IT parks within a ten-minute radius, which is consistent with the employer map of Electronic City.
How long is the commute to Whitefield or Manyata?
Long. Whitefield is roughly 17 km in a straight line, and the road route through Sarjapur and the ORR is slow at peak hours.
Manyata and the airport belt are further still.
There is no direct metro for those trips today, so buyers working in the east or north should look closer to their office.
Which schools are near the project?
St. Francis de Sales Public School is listed at about 3 minutes and Ebenezer International at about 10 minutes.
Sri Chaitanya is about 11 minutes away and MS Dhoni Global School about 24 minutes.
IIT Bangalore East, PES University and Symbiosis add unusual higher-education depth for a suburban address in south Bengaluru.
Are hospitals nearby?
Yes. JJ Hospitals is listed at about 7 minutes and Springleaf Hospital at about 8 minutes for routine care.
The Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences and Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre are each about 12 minutes away on the Narayana Health City campus.
That tertiary depth is a real advantage for families and older residents.
Is the area safe and well developed?
The area is an established employment corridor with steady daytime activity. The immediate pocket is still filling in, with factories, older layouts and vacant parcels beside new projects.
Some stretches of Huskur Road have patchy lighting and drainage. Visit after dark and after rain, and judge the approach road for yourself before booking.
