Brookefield is Whitefield’s lifestyle core — the pocket everyone means when they talk about Whitefield’s cafés, breweries and restaurants. Around Brookefield Mall and the ITPL fringe you get one of East Bangalore’s densest concentrations of dining, coworking and expat services.

It is a mature, low-rise-to-mid-rise neighbourhood of established gated communities and independent houses, walkable in a way most of Bengaluru is not. That maturity is the appeal — you buy into a finished, amenity-rich area rather than a construction site.

The catch is the lack of a metro station in the pocket itself; residents walk or ride to Kundalahalli (~1.5 km) for the Purple Line, or drive to ITPL.
